About

The archive story

Haperture is the fine-art print label behind HGDR Photography. A single-photographer archive, printed to order.

Haperture is the print label behind HGDR Photography. The archive has been building since the early 2010s. The work covers fashion, urbex, interiors, architecture, and documentary photography. For most of that time the files lived in cold storage, pulled out for private commissions. Haperture is the label that sells those images as prints.

HGDR Photography is one photographer, one archive. Every image on the site comes from it. Nothing here is licensed or generated.

Three materials

Haperture prints on three materials. Canvas. Fuji Crystal Archive silk photographic paper. Brushed aluminium, as an 'aluminium box' mount.

Each image is offered primarily on the material it was made for. Landscapes print best on canvas, portraits on photographic paper. Monochrome and architectural work belongs on aluminium, where the metal shows through the highlights. Secondary material options exist, but the primary pairing is the one recommended on the product page.

How orders run

Every print is made to order. Lead times depend on material, and are shown on each product page and in Shipping and returns.

Haperture is a UK Ltd and VAT-registered. Prices shown on the site include VAT. Every invoice shows the VAT amount separately.

Bespoke editing

We also prepare your own photographs for fine-art print. Colour correction and tonal work. Output profiling for the material you choose. See the bespoke editing page.
